Hi! Today is an exciting day because it's my first day blogging. I've heard a lot about blogs, and I think they are a great way to stay in contact with my friends, family, and students (both past and present). And maybe I'll even meet some new people.
My name is Eileen, and I am originally from Ashland WI USA. It's a small town of about 8,000 people and it's located close to the Canadian border, on the south shore of Lake Superior. It gets VERY cold there in the winter.
One of my favorite hobbies is baking. Here is a picture of a cake I baked for my friend's twin boys' birthday. Pretty cool, huh?
